Think Assyrian is the brain child of 3 Assyrians who could not stand the back stabbing of the Assyrians people around the globe and specially U.S. by some special interest group.

Brief History:

In the mid nineteen nineties Assyrian American Federation was informed by US politicians and Census Bureau that there was a campaign to change and split the category “Assyrians” and have a separate category for Chaldean and Syriac.  However Assyrian American Federation under a weak and unsophisticated administration choose to ignore the warnings and Census Bureau decided to move forward with the changes.

Historically everyone knows that those names were brought upon Assyrian people of Bet Nahrain to further split the nation and make them weaker so they never can proclaim their ancestry land of Northern Iraq.

So in 1999 during the Assyrian National Convention there were several meetings regarding the “3 name for One Nation” issue. After one of the meetings 3 of us were huddling and trying to come up with some slogan to bring together ever more the Assyrian Pride in all the Assyrian Nation and there we came up with “Think Assyrian” which meant “Do Not dilute you thoughts with any splitting  name non-sense just put you thought in one and only one thing – ASSYRIAN”
